Sharon Baskerville is delighted to be an Early Childhood Educator, advocate, writer, wife, mom, and Grammy. A native New Yorker from Brooklyn, she currently resides in North Carolina. Sharon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She dedicates her weekends, early mornings, and summers to writing and creating about real issues in inclusive classroom communities. Recognizing that children have genuine emotions, abilities, and disabilities, she aims to make a difference by sharing stories, ideas, and solutions for young children, teachers, and families facing everyday challenges. Her social stories encompass dance and movement, sign language, diversity, conflict resolution, and, most importantly, lots of giggles, wiggles, and joy for young learners and the adults who teach and care for them.
